Be careful when you start a business. In Saudi Arabia there is a different culture from the U.S. There are many aspects to the culture you have to know. One of the biggest parts of this culture is a religion, another is that the value of manners is very high, and still another is that the weather is very harsh.

First, the big part of the culture of Saudi Arabia comes from religion. The religion of Saudi Arabia is Islamic. It creates many rules for behavior among people. The people believe that and they are interested in their religion. For example, they do not drink alcohol and they do not eat pork. The people in S.A do not like anyone who makes fun of Islam. For all these reasons, it is very important to get information about Islam before beginning any business.

Second, Saudi Arabia has many important manners. The value of manners is very high. People respect others throw manners. For example, when people meet older people they have to kiss the head of this old person. In addition, the people in Saudi Arabia use their right hand when they eat, great and give presents. They do not use their left hand because that is shameful. Manners are other things you have to know before you starting your business in Saudi Arabia.

Third, the weather in Saudi Arabia is very harsh because it is very hot and dry in the summer. The temperature reaches 122 F. People wear lightweight white clothes. People every where use air conditioner in homes, restaurant and cars. People drink a lot of water at least 2 litters a day to be healthy. These are also other things you have to know before starting your business in Saudi Arabia.

In conclusion, knowledge of other culture is very important when you start international business. If you ignore the culture the business will come costly. People in the world have many different parts related to their culture like Saudi Arabia has religion manners and weather.

Eid Al- Adha

Eid Al- Adha is a celebrated day in my country, also all Muslims people around the world. About three million people go to Saudi Arabia (Makkah al-Mukarramah) to pilgrimage, or better known as Hajj. During this day, Muslims do what’s called sacrificed, and this things come from prophet Ibrahim for his God by sacrificed sheep. People in my country visit each other; and their family made celebrate for that visit. People how made the sacrificed should give alms (part of the sacrificed sheep) to poor people.
Muslims pray a different prayer at that day which called pray Eid Al-Adha is 12-10 every year in Hajrah calendar.

When I was nine years old I had an accident in my neighbor’s car. This event took place when the neighbor’s children and I decided to go on a picnic. After we finished, we started to go home, and then the tire busted. Which caused the car to go off the road and roll seven times. At that time, people were stopping to see the accident, which caused crowd. People yelled for an ambulance, and was being hysterical. The ambulance arrived an hour later, and they took my friends and I to the hospital! When I was in the hospital the doctor put forty stitches in my head and called my father. When my father arrived, he looked upon me and he thought I was dead.
